The paperback version has still to be released. I’ve still to do a once over and proof read it – when I can be bothered tearing myself away from this little beachfront condo I just bought in Florida.

I might string a hammock up and get on to it – better make sure I’m not pissed as a fart otherwise it my be a f*****g disaster. Only joking! I can be the consummate professional I’ll have you know.

I’m sure SEAL won’t disappoint and if it does then too f*****g bad! I like it and that’s all that really matters.

So get off your lazy asses and do yourselves a favor and buy the kindle version now. You won’t regret it. What am I saying, you can sit on your lazy asses and still buy it. Even better, join kindle unlimited and get it for FREE. Now that is the bargain of the century.

Need to go now – rum cocktail and lobster for lunch plus Felicity has promised me an ALL OVER body massage. I just hope there’s going to be a happy ending ?:0)

Almost There!

Almost There!

Hi Guys,

The book (SEAL) is  finished but I just can’t stop myself from tweaking it every now and then. I need to be happy with it before it gets launched.

Each time I read it it just keeps getting better and better and I really can’t wait for you to see the finished article so to speak.

My designer is currently working on the artwork for the cover and given that he is exceptional I can’t wait to see what he comes up with.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book like SEAL before. It has a unique flavor to it and it will be HARD to put down, even for a minute.

I do have the most creative of imaginations (which can sometimes get me into a lot of trouble) and I am somewhat of a joker. I don’t see the point in taking life too seriously. Let’s put it this way – if I were in a disaster movie I’d be the comic relief character (I certainly was when I tried to fix my jacuzzi and flooded the deck of my yacht – the ladies weren’t amused!)

SEAL might sell millions of copies or just a handful, but do you know what, I couldn’t care less because I love what I’ve created and if just ONE person get’s a kick out of SEAL, that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

Almost there!

First blog post

First blog post

Hi Guys,

I’m just chillin’ in my hot tub sipping on some fine champagne, so hopefully this lap top I’ve got plugged in to the mains won’t fall into the water.

Stupid I know – but that’s how I like to live life, take a risk here and there.

You’ll find my writing style in these blogs is completely different to my novels. What am I saying – I haven’t written my first bloody one yet. I use the word bloody because that’s what they are going to be. Bloody marvelous, bloody humorous, bloody scary, bloody addictive, bloody adventurous and just plain bloody.

I might just put a warning, hazardous for your heath sticker on my first novel. You will not be able to put this book down. It will be so addictive people will literally have to tear it from your grip.

And that’s what it’ll be – a grip. You will be holding on to this book for dear life because you will need to know, page after page, what happens next.

It will become an obsession.

Don’t blame me if you lose your job, split from your significant other, or your social life takes a pounding.

It’ll all be worth it in the end.

Unless you are psychic I defy you to guess the ending, or any of the twists and turns the story takes.

I don’t even know what’s going to happen in my story next. I never know where it’s going or how I’ll get there.  But that’s what makes me love storytelling so much – the adventure of it. You too will get caught up in this adventure.

I don’t write, I discover. I am not a writer, I am a storyteller on an adventure of the heart.

The title of my first book is SEAL. I may change it through time – I’ll have to listen to the whims of my heart, but for now SEAL is just fine.

I’m almost a year and a half in and the finishing line is in sight.

I’m on course to finish SEAL by Christmas, however it may take me another five years to finish it (or I may never finish it). That’s what delights me – I just don’t know, don’t want to know. Life’s much more interesting that way.

One thing I can assure you of is I won’t just be finishing it to meet any deadline. I don’t work to deadline’s (well, except for the tax inspector). I only work to the deadline of my heart, and if that’s in ten years time then that’s just dandy by me.

What am I doing writing a book you’re asking?

Well, I made my millions through various successful business ventures and I felt it was time to hang up my boots. I love travelling, and with  homes scattered throughout the Caribbean, the United States and Europe, I had plenty of time to visit my beautiful houses and the girlfriends I have in every port (nudge, nudge, wink wink).

But the novelty soon wore off – If only I liked golf.

Anyhoo, I always wanted to write a book and thought why not. I’ve got the gift of the gab. I’m half Irish, half Scottish and half Spanish, so I can spin a good yarn – it just came natural to me.

It’s nice to have some interest other than my amazing houses, my champagne lifestyle and the beautiful women that constantly surround me.

Keeps my feet on the ground – that reminds me I’ll have to remember and get that dodgy engine fixed on my plane, almost cut out the last time I flew it to Florida.

Need to go now, the bubbles are going flat on my champagne and I’ve just been joined by another two delightful beauties (my my, the women in the Bahamas don’t half look after themselves).

I might give you another update before the book gets launched (if it ever does) but I might not, so don’t hold your breath.

Adios!
